Silver Award at LG U+ Life Soft Research Contest

Park Soo-jin, a senior-year student at the Department of English, majoring in English Literature and Linguistics, won the Silver (2nd place) award at the Life Soft Research (Customer Life Research, hereafter referred to as LSR) contest hosted by LG U+ on September 28.

Since 2013, LG U+ has been hiring outstanding talents in charge of LSR and UX (user experience) through the contests. The winner is given an opportunity to join LG U+ through an internship process along with a certificate and prize money.

Park, who has always been interested in UX and trends, analyzed the lifestyle trends in the post-COVID era and suggested the idea of 'LG U+ Connect to Your Dream, Connect to Your Lifestyle' at this contest and received good reviews. With the ‘MZ generation’ as the main target, Park proposed the Mental/Healthcare community service, <You+Blooming, Make Your Life Bloom>, by analyzing and combining the topics of '1) increasing interest in health care, 2) revival of mental health care industry, and 3) lifestyle-based community trend.'

Park said, “As I am always interested in catching up on the world trends, it was of great help to me that I was able to have various online and offline experiences and read a lot of related books. I would like to continue my efforts to pay more caring and delicate interest in the way people live , and analyze the everyday life from various perspectives to gain insights.”
