COVID-19 Case on Campus(July 16): Notice on Follow-up Measures

- GA Hall Temporary Closure -

On July 16 (FRI), 2021, a graduate student was confirmed positive on campus, from GA Hall. The COVID-19 Committee has decided to take the follow-up measures as below.

1. Building Closure

As the confirmed patient has been to a laboratory lecture in Gabriel Hall (GA Hall), the Committee has made the decision to temporarily close down GA Hall from 2PM July 16th, Friday to 2PM July 17th, Saturday. We kindly ask for your cooperation despite inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.

※ If you need to enter the building inevitably, please fill out the attached access permission form signed by Dean and submit it to CAPS main control office (02-705-8144). (Having the form signed and submitted by email is possible)

2. Contact Tracing / COVID-19 Test Recommended

Below are the places where the patient had visited. It is highly recommended for those who have visited these locations to receive PCR test. The Committee has already contacted those who have been in close contact with the patient, so that they could take their PCR tests. For those who also have visited these places, it is highly recommended to receive PCR test.

- July 13 (TUE) 14:00-14:20 2nd floor, GA Hall

- No on-campus contact after July 13 (TUE)

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that thorough sterilization has been completed for the places the patient had been. It is also possible that the building closure could be extended according to additional COVID-19 confirmed cases to be found or other reasons. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
