Delmonte CEO, Jeon Seung-hyeon, Donates KRW 10 million to the

Sogang Development Fund

Jeon Seung-hyeon, CEO of Delmonte, has donated KRW 10 million to the Sogang Development Fund. The fund donation ceremony was held at the Presidential Reception Room at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14. Participants at the ceremony included CEO Jeon, President Park Jong Gou, Acting Executive Vice President of Research & External Affairs Oh Kyung Whan, Vice President for Public Affairs Kim Juho, and Dean of School of Economics Kwark Noh-Sun.

 

Having served as the 23rd president of the Opinion Leaders Program (OLP) at the Graduate School of Economics at Sogang, Mr. Jeon also donated KRW 20 million to the OLP.

 

CEO Jeon said, "I had a wonderful time in OLP's differentiated programs that offered extensive activities and valuable networking. I have always wanted to donate to the school and thankfully, I found a great opportunity to do it. I hope this donation will be used to meet some of Sogang’s needs and help foster the next generation of students.“

 

Presenting a Letter of Appreciation, President Park Jong Gou said, "I know CEO Jeon is always working to serve and share for the betterment of society and has made great contributions to Sogang's development with special interest and love for the school."

 

CEO Jeon's donation will be used as a fund for the Nam Duck-Woo Economic Research Institute.
