Beast Global Donates 20,000 Face Masks to Sogang

Beast Global CEO Chu Myeong Ju has donated 20,000 face masks to Sogang University. The donation ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 4, at the office of the Vice President for Public Affairs in the Administration Building. The ceremony was attended by CEO Chu, Business Director Jung Lae-ik, and Vice President for Public Affairs Kim Juho.

The donated face masks were manufactured by HW International, a company specialized in manufacturing face masks. A sponsor of HW International, Beast Global carries out a variety of charity activities through donations to government offices and public organizations.

With this donation, Sogang University has become the first university to be a beneficiary of the company's 'good influence.' CEO Chu said, "My donation was motivated by cherished memories with my older brother on the Sogang’s campus, as he was graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I hope this donation is helpful to the university in its efforts to provide quality education through this tough period of time.“

He then expressed his wish for continued cooperation with the school by saying, "I hope to continue industry-academic cooperation with Sogang University in its endeavors to foster talent.“

Vice President for Public Affairs Kim Juho said, "I was impressed by CEO Chu's considerate donation that is absolutely essential for our school. Thank you for your warm compassion in valuing our connection through your brother. We are motivated by your charitable culture to endeavor even harder to develop in the future.“

The face masks donated by Beast Global will be used to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and for preventive operations.
