COVID-19 Case on Campus (September 24): Notice on Follow-up Measures

- Closure notice: Thomas More Hall -

On September 24 (Fri), a student was confirmed positive. The COVID-19 Committee has therefore decided to take the follow-up measures as below.

 

1. Building Closure

As the confirmed patient visited the Thomas More Hall, the Committee has made the decision to temporarily close down Thomas More Hall from 15:00 September 24 (Fri) until 15:00 September 25 (Sat). We kindly ask for your cooperation despite inconveniences this temporary closure may cause.

 

2. Contact Tracing / COVID-19 Test Recommended

 

Below are the confirmed places (on-campus) where the patient had visited recently. It is highly recommended for those who have visited the below locations to receive the PCR test.

September 20 (Mon) ~ 21 (Tue) No movement within campus

September 22 (Wed) 20:00-22:30 3rd floor, Thomas More Hall

September 23 (Thus) 08:00-19:00 3rd floor, Thomas More Hall

                              19:10-19:35 SALADY, Gonzaga Plaza

                              19:45-22:30 3rd floor, Thomas More Hall

September 24 (Fri)  No movement within campus


The Committee has completed thorough sterilization in the place the patient has been. It is also possible that the building closure could be extended according to additional COVID-19 confirmed cases to be found or other reasons. For the safety of the members of Sogang, those who have symptoms related to COVID-19 or have been tested for such symptoms should refrain from entering on-campus. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
