COVID-19 Case on Campus (September 14): Notice on Follow-up Measures

- Closure notice: Thomas More Hall -

On September 14 (Tue), a student was confirmed positive. The COVID-19 Committee has therefore decided to take the follow-up measures as below.

1. Building Closure 

As the confirmed patient visited the Thomas More Hall, the Committee has made the decision to temporarily close down Thomas More Hall from 19:00 September 14 (Tue) until 19:00 September 15 (Wed). We kindly ask for your cooperation despite inconveniences this temporary closure may cause.

2. Contact Tracing / COVID-19 Test Recommended 

Below are the confirmed places (on-campus) where the patient had visited recently. It is highly recommended for those who have visited the below locations to receive the PCR test.  

September 8 (Wed) No movement within campus

September 9 (Thu) 08:50-09:00 Thomas More Hall

                         21:50-22:30 Thomas More Hall

September 10 (Fri) 08:50-09:00 Thomas More Hall

                         13:00-13:30 BW Hall (cafeteria)

                         21:50-22:30 Thomas More Hall

September 11 (Sat) 08:50-09:00 Thomas More Hall

No movement within campus after September 12 (Sun)

The Committee has completed thorough sterilization in the place the patient has been. It is also possible that the building closure could be extended according to additional COVID-19 confirmed cases to be found or other reasons. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
