COVID-19 Case on Campus (September 8): Notice on Follow-up Measures

- Closure notice: Administration Building (One-Stop Service Station), J Hall (5^th floor) - 

On September 8 (Wed), a graduate student was confirmed positive on campus. The COVID-19 Committee has therefore decided to take the follow-up measures as below.

1. Building Closure 

As the confirmed patient visited the Administration Building (One-Stop Service Station) and J Hall (5^th floor), the Committee has made the decision to temporarily close down Administration Building (One-Stop Service Station) and J Hall (5^th floor) from 15:00 September 8 (Wed). The detailed closure period of each building is informed below. We kindly ask for your cooperation despite inconveniences this temporary closure may cause.

- Closure of the Administration Building (One-Stop Service Station): From 15:00 September 8 (Wed) to 13:00 September 9 (Thu)

-  Closure of J Hall (5^th floor): From 15:00 September 8 (Wed) to 00:00 September 10 (Fri) 

 * The One-Stop Service Station staff works from home, so you can make a phone call. (02-705-8003)

2. Contact Tracing / COVID-19 Test Recommended 

Below are the confirmed places (on-campus) where the patient had visited recently. It is highly recommended for those who have visited the below locations to receive the PCR test.  

- September 7 (Tue) 13:00-14:00 Restaurant “Meal Plan B” in Gonzaga Plaza 

- September 7 (Tue) 14:00-14:30 1st floor, Administration Hall (One Stop Service Station)

- September 7 (Tue) 14:30-18:00 Room #514, J Hall Multimedia room

The Committee has completed thorough sterilization in the place the patient has been. It is also possible that the building closure could be extended according to additional COVID-19 confirmed cases to be found or other reasons. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
