COVID-19 Case on Campus(August 3): Notice on Follow-up Measures
On August 3 (TUE), 2021, an undergraduate student was confirmed positive on campus. The COVID-19 Committee has decided to take the follow-up measures as below.
1. Contact Tracing / COVID-19 Test Recommended
The confirmed student is currently residing on the on-campus dormitory and was self-quarantining from July 29 (THU) after being in close contact with a confirmed acquaintance on July 25 (SUN). The confirmed student was confirmed negative on July 30 (FRI) but was confirmed positive on August 2 (MON) after a retest.
Below are the places where the patient had visited between July 26 (MON) to 28 (WED). It is highly recommended for those who have visited these locations to receive the PCR test.
- July 26 (MON) 10:40-10:45 GS25 Convenience Store in Gonzaga Plaza
- July 26 (MON) 10:50-10:55 Starbuck in Gonzaga Plaza
- July 28 (WED) 12:00-12:05 Starbuck in Gonzaga Plaza
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that thorough sterilization has been completed for the places the patient had been. Additional building closure may be enforced according to additional COVID-19 confirmed cases to be found or other reasons. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
