COVID-19 Case on Campus: Notice on Follow-up Measures

- All On-campus Lectures Switched Online, Closure of Ricci and Kim Daegon Halls -

 


On May 24, 2021 (MON), a new COVID-19 case was confirmed on campus, and the COVID-19 Committee has decided to take the follow-up measures as below.

 


1. All On-campus Lectures Switched Online

During the two-week period from May 25 (TUE) until June 7 (MON), all on-campus lectures will be switched online. For the on-campus course that the confirmed patient had attended, the Committee has contacted the lecturer, teaching assistant, and the students and advised them to get PCR-tested.

 

2. Building Closures

The Commitee has decided to close down the buildings the confirmed patient has been in, namely Ricci (R) and Kim Daegon (K) Halls, from 18:00 May 24, 2021 until 18:00 May 25, 2021. We apologize for the inconveniences the building closures may cause, and thank you in advance for your support to keep Sogang community safe.

* In case one needs to access one of the closed buildings inevitably, please kindly fill out the attached Permission Form, have it signed by the Dean, and submit it to ADT CAPS Station (02-705-8144) (approval and submission through e-mail allowed)

 

3. Contact Tracing

Below is the places the confirmed patient has been recently. If you have been to any of these places, it is highly recommended that you get tested.

 

- Monday, May 17 16:30-19:00 On-campus lecture in Ricci Hall

- Friday, May 21 13:10-13:15 Printing machine in 1F Ricci Hall

- Friday, May 21 13:20-15:00 On-campus lecture in Kim Daegon Hall

 

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that thorough sterilization has been completed for the places the confirmed patient has been. We kindly ask for your cooperation in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
