Selected for 30 under 30 in Healthcare Industry in Asia 2019 of Forbes Magazine
Roman Vernidub, a Russian student in the doctoral course of international trade at the Graduate School of International Studies, was selected as one of the 30 under 30 in the healthcare industry in Asia of Forbes magazine this year.
Roman Vernidub obtained a master’s degree in international trade at Sogang Graduate School of International Studies in 2014. He finished his doctoral course at the school and now is writing his thesis on “the facilitation of Korea-Russia trade and bilateral economic cooperation” under the direction of Prof. Heo Yoon.
The company Vernidub, “Koru Pharmaceuticals” was established in 2015 to export Korean pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to Russia. Since its foundation, the company has been rapidly growing to record USD 12 million in revenue in 2017 and USD 17 million in 2018. Now, the company is one of the representative bio-pharmaceutical distributors in Asia. Forbes anticipates that this company will soon become one of the billion-dollar startups.
At present, the company supplies more than 300 products to hospitals, dermatologists, and beauty salons throughout more than 50 countries. The company plans to launch its own brand, research center, and pharmaceutical manufacturer and to make inroads into Silicon Valley.
