High-speed Charger Installed for Electronic Assistance Devices for
In room #203 (Dasoni Room) of Berchmans Woojung Hall, a high-speed charger for electronic assistance devices for students with disabilities will be installed for all wheelchair users on campus. Compared to conventional chargers, the required charging time will be cut in half with this high-speed device (based on a 40A battery, fully charged in three hours).
Thanks to the 2018 Seoul Project for the Installation of Electronic Assisting Device Chargers, 46 locations (including Sogang University) were selected for installation, based on evaluations of the locations and their surroundings. The conferment was conducted on December 28 (Friday) at Berchmans Woojung Hall, and the ceremony was attended by Seoul City officials and the Korean Society for the Cerebral Palsied.
The 2018 Seoul Project for the Installation of Electronic Assisting Device Chargers was funded by the Seoul City Government and hosted by the Korean Society for the Cerebral Palsied.
