of Korean Standard Service Quality Index for Four Years in a Row
Sogang University has been selected as first in the ‘University Sector’ of ‘2017 Korean Standard Service Quality Index (KS-SQI)’ supervised by Korean Standards Association (KSA) for four years in a row. The KS-SQI is a service quality measuring model that reflects characteristics of service industry and consumers of the Republic of Korea, characteristics that are representative comprehensive indicators to measure overall quality level of the industry.
Park Jong-gou, the president of Sogang University, attended the ‘2017 KS-SQI Certification Awards’ held at Lotte Hotel on October 25th, Wednesday, to receive the certification plaque for the first rank at the sector of ‘university.’ The survey for the KS-SQI this year was conducted from May to September 2017 targeting students studying in the subject universities excluding freshmen at the time of the survey.
The assessment was conducted for seven categories; fundamental service, unexpected additional service, reliability, friendliness, active support, easy access, and physical environment. Sogang University has been recognized as the institution providing the highest level of service for the seven items overall, ranking first in the sector of university.
