Mario Outlet CEO Hong Sung-ryul donated 30 billion won as Sogang University Economics Building Construction Development Fund
Mario Outlet CEO Hong Sung-ryul donated development fund of 30 billion won for construction of Sogang University ‘Nam Deok-woo Economics Building’ and held a donation ceremony on Friday, June 17.
‘Nam Deok-woo Economics Building’ is to honor the work of blessed Jiam Nam Deok-woo who was the former Prime Minister and Sogang University is on the process of constructing this building, also this building is expected to facilitate lecture rooms, reference rooms regarding economic development process of Korea and so on.
CEO Hong Sung-ryul who was present on that day said, “In order to honor the work of Nam Deok-woo, a former Prime Minister, who has contributed towards the national economy and take this meaning together with Sogang University which makes a great effort to train talents who will lead the economy of Korea so I have decided to donate,” and added, “The junior colleagues who are working hard to reach their dreams can prepare for their future in better educational environments, have challenging spirits with no fear and I hope that they can grow as the talents who can lead the national development.”
President Yoo Ki-pung said, “I appreciate for donating such a large amount of fund towards constructing this Economics Building, which is a representative of Sogang Scholars in the honor of Jiam Nam Deok-woo,” and added, “We will make this donation fund to be a good use for Sogang University to nurture the best talents from the best educational environment.”
